Tree of Knowledge - Successville

Wednesday, September 8, 2010

This week a company called Tree of Knowledge will deliver a presentation called Successville to all S1 pupils.  This course is designed to encourage pupils to make effective contributions to their communities.  It reveals the power of goal setting and emphasises the importance of community values and learning successfully.
Tree of Knowledge visited us on the first week of term with courses for our senior pupils.  S5 took part in 'Reach for the Power' and S6 in 'Intriguing Futures'  .  The students were all invited to give feedback on their courses.  Here are some of the responses -
"Tree of Knowledge was a good laugh but at the same time a great help for next year."
"I enjoyed today's talk and learnt a lot including that somethings that seem inpossible are actually possible if you put your mind to it.  Thank You."
"Tree of Knowledge was excellent.  I learned a lot about how to get ready for the future.  I found it fun and interesting.  It also helped me realise the challenge I have to face in the life ahead of me.  I also learned a lot about peer pressure and independence.  Jen is great she made us have a laugh"
